Design

When it comes to design, there are three options to choose from:

  1. Pay us a small design fee and we will take care of the design for you. Each product has its own design fee in the listing (when applicable). There are 3 revisions allowed; after that there is a $10 fee per revision. Upload whatever files you have: text, images, drawings, example design, etc. We will get a design ready and email a proof for your approval. Check it over carefully for typos, orientation, and placement of artwork/images/text. Once approved no further changes are possible; by approving the proof, you are giving us the go-ahead for printing. Cancellation is not possible after the job is entered into the production queue. See our Refund Policy for details.
  2. DIY. When placing your order, upload your design file(s). We accept whatever formats you have; if for some reason there is a problem with one of your files, we will contact you and get it sorted out. Whether you use an online platform like Canva, or you have design staff, please be sure to follow the file setup/page orientation guides linked in the “How to Order” page; this could dramatically reduce the back-and-forth time getting your order ready. If you upload your own design file in PDF format it is considered to be print-ready: no typos, correct page orientation and placement of artwork/images/text; although we will give it a quick check over for errors, we are not obligated to make any unrequested changes and we cannot guarantee the print result is error free (see our Refund policy).
  3. Outsource. We recommend freelancers on Fiverr.com. These are individuals from all over who are eager to work with you. We have worked with Fiverr freelancers quite often and have been very pleased with the results. The graphic design freelancer will accept whatever material you have (some are more particular about the type/format of files they accept which they list on their profiles) and produce your design file(s) which meet our requirements. You would upload the PDF files they provide to you when ordering from our website. Again, if you upload a design file in PDF format, the PDF file is considered to be fully print-ready; although we will give it a quick check over, we cannot make any changes and we cannot guarantee the print results if the uploaded file does not meet our requirements (see our Refund policy).

Suggested process when looking for a design freelancer on Fiverr.com:

  • Search “design {product} print ready CMYK”
  • Narrow results by “Service Options”, “Seller Details” and “Budget”
  • Check out the portfolio images to quickly get an idea of their talent level
  • Confirm that they accept the type/format of the files you have
  • Send a quick message describing what you want. If you like their response (clear and timely communication), reply with full details of your project

Your choices on the paper stock/weight, finish and other options selected are considered matters of taste and personal preference; we do not guarantee the suitability of your chosen design/colours with your selected product options.
